However, due to the excessive demand for middle and low grade molds in our country, the self-matching rate of middle and high grade molds is less than 60%. It's not hard to see why.
They are mainly manifested in the following aspects: first, mold steel and other constraints; Second, the standardization level needs to be improved; Third, the need to cultivate high-end mold talents; Fourth, accelerate the pace of precision moulds structure adjustment; Fifth, increase investment to strengthen innovation capacity; Sixth, promote joint restructuring between mold enterprises; Seventh, overseas market development needs to be deepened.

Due to the high degree of dependence on imports of key and core molds in the downstream industry, especially in the automotive industry, a series of key and core injection parts precision moulds required by the relevant host products are also mainly provided by these internationally renowned mold enterprises.
In recent years, the cabinet enterprises continue to improve the mold process technology and products, therefore, some plastic molds or injection parts began to circulate in the international market, successfully entered the supply chain system of some high-end industries, but also replaced some imported products, get rid of their dependence. But it is undeniable that only a few of them are in the international high-end market.

It is understood that by 2015, the independent matching rate of molds required by the Chinese market will reach more than 85%, of which the independent matching rate of high-end molds will be significantly improved.
